My Favorite Kid Photos

Children are adorable. They make you work to get good photos because they're always moving and have much less interest in being photographed than their parents have in getting a set of timeless images.  But when you nail those special shots, it's worth all the bribing, funny voices, and cat toys that get them to play along

Keep them loose by getting them to play a game with you.

Go abstract. ​

​Let them be themselves. If there's a toy that brings out who they are, it's game on.

Think age appropriate. If they're a little younger, it's all about play. Once they get close to the tween years, they want to look cool, and a more posed shot will make them feel like a grownup. ​
